MotorcycleMachine designed to mill and grind cylinder head planes and small engine blocks in aluminum or cast-iron. The swinging head covers most of 4 to 6 cylinder car engines. Coolant system with electric pump and settling tank available.
The machine is supplied with a Ø 330 mm milling plate, on which is assembled a tool holder compatible with Ø9.52 mm CBN or PCD cutting inserts.
CBN insert is dedicated to iron cast cutting whereas PCD insert is dedicated to machining cutting.
The Ø330 mm milling plate swing allows machining of heads or blocks with the following dimensions:
– 700×180 mm
– 600×225 mm
– 500×260 mm
– 400×285 mm
– 350×300 mm
Tool rotation as well as swinging head are independantly driven by two Siemens variabl frequency drives.
The machine is delivered with two rising spacers of 352 x 140(h) mm, with screws and clamps.
The machine is available as SG 330 U model (U stands for Universal). This model includes the following elements:
– a motor pump
– a settling tank
– a splash guard with protection
– Grinding segment plate complete with 8 grinding segments
